STG initiated operations in Costa Rica in 1996 as SERVICOM to provide technical support to computers and telecommunication and electronic equipment.

 

SERVICOM established strategic alliances renowned manufacturers of electronic equipment such as Alcatel, Compaq, Lotus, Motorola, Silicon Graphics and Wang. .

 

To service the increasing demand beyond Costa Rican borders, in 1998 SERVICOM transfers into a Free Zone Regime to service equipment through out North and South America.

 

Simultaneously, SOPORTE TÉCNICO GLOBAL (STG) is incorporated to continue servicing the local market in Costa Rica, and the STG brand is adopted by the organization.

 

As the telecommunication monopolies in Central America were privatized and cellular phones began to proliferate, our clients required services on location. Consequently, STG expanded through out Central America establishing local operations in Guatemala (2000), Nicaragua (2001) and Honduras (2004).

 

SERVICOM entered into the US market providing refurbishing, reprogramming and memory removal services for cellular phones while continuing to provide similar services for Central America and the Caribbean. .

 

STG/SERVICOM have consolidated as a renowned High Technology Service Centers for cellular phones in Central America and continues to service other telecommunication and data capturing equipment.
